ACRYLIC PAINT POURING TECHNIQUES with GLORIA ELPHINSTONE MONDAY 2 pm - 5 pm NO CLASS ON PUBLIC HOLIDAY 9th MARCH.
You do not have to be an artist to do this technique. It is enjoyable for all, from beginners to accomplished artists.
Acrylic paint pouring is very addictive, therapeutic and fun to do. I say it's like a box of chocolates, you do not know what you are going to get until you pour the paint on your canvas. Choose your colours that go together or your favourites; it might be best to have one of the paint colours a darker tone I guess the 'rule' in painting is shading, dark and light, contrast and complementary.
I would apply that to paint pouring as well. But you can have any colours that you like.
There is a step by step instruction demonstration followed by you applying it and producing your own creation. No two paintings will be identical.

They paint, draw, print, use collage etc. to create without a tutor. Participants share their experiences and enjoy the company of fellow artists in an informal atmosphere often over a hot cuppa. We are always keen to make new friends and welcome new members to our groups.
These untutored groups met Tuesday and Thursday, so please ensure that you include the correct ID for the group you want to join.
